Welcome to Hengout (the "Platform"). The Platform is provided or controlled by Sixnergy ("we" or "us"). Hengout is currently focused on serving users in Vietnam. We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including Vietnam's Personal Data Protection regulations and other applicable data protection laws.
To provide our services to you, we offer you a free iOS app that you can download onto your mobile phone. This policy sets out the basis on which any Personal Data from you will be processed, collected, used, and disclosed by us when you access or use our applications, products and content (collectively, the "Services").
Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your Personal Data and how we will treat it.
We collect and process Personal Data either directly from you (e.g. when you provide certain information to us) or indirectly (e.g. through our Platform's technology).
"Personal Data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
If you register an account with us to use the Platform, you must provide us with certain Personal Data, including your unique account name, your e-mail address and, if provided, your telephone number and your photograph. You may also be able to register using your user credentials through Google OAuth.
When you use our Services, we automatically collect your IP address, device identifiers, device model, operating system version, time zone, language settings, and app version. We also collect information about how you use the Platform, including content you create, save, or share, such as vibes and collections.
Further, when you use the Platform on a mobile device, we process information about your location. Our app uses a multi-tier location strategy: we primarily use GPS (Global Positioning System) for high-accuracy location when available and you have granted permission, and fall back to network-based location (IP geolocation) when GPS is not available or if you choose not to share your GPS location. If you do not wish to share your GPS location with us, you can switch off GPS functionality on your mobile device or deny location permissions.
When you use our Platform, you may create, save, and share vibes. We provide suggestions for categories, purposes, and tags that you can choose from to organize your vibes. We collect the categories, purposes, and tags you select, along with location data associated with your vibes and collections. This information is used to provide you with our Services and to allow you to organize and share your content.
When you upload photos or take pictures through our Platform (such as for your profile picture, group avatars, or to share in chat conversations), we may access your device's camera or photo library with your permission. Photos and images you upload are processed and stored using Cloudinary. You can choose to grant or deny camera and photo library permissions at any time through your device settings.
When you use our chat and messaging features, we collect and store your chat messages, including text messages, media messages (images, videos), and activity-related messages. We also collect conversation data, group chat information, message metadata (such as timestamps, sender information, and conversation IDs), and real-time communication data. This information is stored locally on your device using SQLite database for offline support and synchronized with our servers via WebSocket for real-time communication. Chat messages and conversations are only accessible to you and the participants in those conversations.
When you use our social features, we collect and process information about your friends list, friend requests you send or receive, blocked users, and groups you participate in or create. This includes group names, group avatars, group members, and group-related data. We use this information to provide friend discovery, connection management, and group communication features.
When you create or participate in activities, we collect activity information including activity name, purpose, location coordinates (latitude/longitude), status (such as ongoing, analyzing, voting, or completed), voting data, activity suggestions, and timestamps related to activity submission and voting periods. Activities are associated with conversations and groups, and activity data is used to facilitate group planning and location-based recommendations.
When you purchase a subscription or make a payment through our Platform, we collect and process payment-related information including subscription plans, payment history, order codes, transaction status (pending, success, or failed), and purchase timestamps. We use third-party payment processors to handle actual payment transactions. We do not store your full payment card details; payment processing is handled by our payment service providers.
If you choose to link the Platform to your social network account (such as Google OAuth), you may provide us or allow your social network to provide us with information from your social network accounts. This data may include your email address, profile name, and profile photo. For further information as to how and for what purpose the social network provider processes your Personal Data, please see their privacy policies.
We use local storage technologies and similar mechanisms (such as device identifiers) to enhance your experience using the Platform. We use SQLite database for local storage of chat messages, conversations, and other app data to enable offline functionality and faster app performance. We also use local storage mechanisms for caching app data and secure storage for authentication tokens. These technologies are used to collect information, including Personal Data, from you to enable us to provide certain features and functionality.

When you register as user of our services, we obtain personal data to create your user account, which is necessary to provide you with the Services.
If you choose to share your location with us, we will use your data to provide you with location-based services.

We use Google OAuth SDK for social login. Google collects your device information and Google account public information to authenticate you. Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
We use Cloudinary to store and optimize images (profile pictures, avatars, chat media). Images are processed and stored on Cloudinary's servers. Privacy policy: https://cloudinary.com/privacy.
We use In-App Purchase (IAP) for payment processing. Payments are processed through App Store (iOS). We receive transaction receipts for verification. Apple's privacy policy applies: https://www.apple.com/privacy/.
Our App uses WebSocket technology for real-time communication features such as chat messaging. Real-time messages and updates are transmitted through WebSocket connections to enable instant delivery of messages and notifications.
We do not use your Personal Data for tracking purposes. We do not link data collected from our app with Third-Party Data for advertising or advertising measurement purposes, and we do not share your data with data brokers.
We may share your information with law enforcement agencies, public or tax authorities or other organizations if legally required to do so, or if we have a good faith belief that such use is reasonably necessary to:
Our Services are primarily operated from Vietnam and are currently focused on serving users in Vietnam. The Personal Data that we collect from you will be stored primarily in Vietnam, and may also be transferred to, and stored at, third-party servers which may be located in various locations.
It may also be processed by staff operating in Vietnam or outside your country who work for us, for one of our suppliers or one of our business partners.
We take steps to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your information transmitted through the Platform; any transmission is at your own risk. We do have appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk.
We maintain these technical and organizational measures and may amend them from time to time to improve the overall security of our systems.
We will retain your information for so long as we are required to retain such information under applicable laws.
After you have terminated your use of our services or deleted your account, we may store your information in an aggregated and anonymized format. Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may also retain any personal information as reasonably necessary to comply with our legal obligations, allow us to resolve and litigate disputes, and to enforce our agreements.
The Platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. As Hengout is primarily focused on serving users in Vietnam, users under the age of 13 are not allowed to use the Platform or register an account on the Platform without the consent of their parent or guardian. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a person under the age of 13 without parental or guardian consent, we will delete this information and terminate the person's account. You have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your Personal Data, unless we need to retain it for legitimate business or legal purposes. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. You may object to the processing of your Personal Data or withdraw consent at any time.

We will notify users of material changes to this Policy through notices on our Platform. We will update the "Last Updated" date when changes are made. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Services.
